It’s been 20 years since Leslie Cheung tragically passing away and how time had quickly gone.

So many things have changed in Hong Kong for the past 20 years and the thing that never changed has been the legacy of Cheung’s music & movies. His immense body of works is filled with superb excellence. From drama to comedy, it shows no boundaries.

With 2023, there are several commemorations since the past three years in Hong Kong and the world was hit with COVID-19 restrictions. With the easing of restrictions, activities events have been opened up. The one happening on April 1st is the Leslie Cheung Commemorative Concert.

The shock and sadness of what happened on April 1st is engrained in everyone’s mind. Cheung’s legacy from music and movies continue to live on as he inspired a lot of new fans to enjoy his talent. Cheung is considered the pioneering symbol of LGBTQ2S+ rights.
