Hong Kong Afternoon Tea at The Peninsula – S16E10
You asked for it and you got it. This is the post maybe some are waiting for. It’s Afternoon Tea at The Peninsula Hong Kong.
My friend and I decided to go on a Sunday and he told me he never got to try it. We basically marked it off the bucket list unexpectedly.
Afternoon tea is similar to what is served at Fairmont Chateau Laurier. The Peninsula being a more luxurious 5 star hotel in Hong Kong and its renown locale situated in Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong.
We ordered the pastries and finger sandwiches. The tea I picked was Peach & Ginger Oolong Tea. Service is excellent as the server would tell us what we were having. Top notch all around with the Lobby. There was live music played on the upper floor.
I totally forgot to take a photo of the menu as the link is provided about. The price in HK dollars is also shown from The Peninsula’s website.
Prior to going for Afternoon Tea at The Peninsula, I found the Anita Mui and Bruce Lee statues at Avenue of the Stars. The last time I went, I didn’t go further. I found out the 2 statues were located near Starbucks, of all places.
There you have it, fine afternoon tea dining at a hotel was excellent. It is worth when you go to Hong Kong. Make sure you reserve in advance since it’s popular.
