July Reply

Well, it’s been awhile that I haven’t blogged. I was suppose to write an early July entry, but I just forgot. Exciting July so far. I hosted a BBQ on July 2, the day after Canada Day, gee. Overall, my friends liked it and I went bonkers and almost lost my voice.
Doctor Who Series 2 ended in the UK and the final two episode was just amazing. I got an unexpected gift from a friend who works at The Comic Book Shoppe. All the hard work by transferring episodes of Doctor Who to his iPod video really paid off.
Watched Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest on July 7 and it was not bad.

Here’s my stack of readings from the graphic novels I own. I hope you recognize what trade is what. 😀
The second photo, you see a comic called “Mouse Guard.” By fluke, I got the comic on July 3 and paid at normal Canadian price, around $3. Right now, that comic is fetching at least $50-60. That’s just crazy.

Fables rocks! I just bought the first 6 trades last month and loved them. The Dark Phoenix Saga is always a great read. The 3 volumes of Ex Machina are worth a read if you don’t have them-anything by BKV is awesome. Have a great weekend!

I have Ex Machina #1-11 in comic form. So, no need for the trade.
I started on Vol. 3 for Ex Machina

It’s pretty sweet to have Mouse Guard #1.

Why Dark Phoenix Saga? Thanks to Joss Whedon and John Cassaday on Astonishing X-Men.
