It’s been a very long time I went to Ocean Park Hong Kong. It was back in 1989 when I went to Ocean Park. I didn’t get a chance to go back in the Summer of 2000 because of scheduling.

At last, I finally went to Ocean Park on a holiday Monday, it was during Mid-Autumn Festival. It was also very hot going to Ocean Park. A lot has totally changed when I last went. The attractions they have are an aquarium, some animals like Pandas, Red Pandas, seals, sharks and etc. They were some thrill rides and some safer rides.

I didn’t go on a lot of thrill rides like the roller coaster because it was so hot that day. One went I went was The Rapids. It was a water ride and I hadn’t gone on those kind of rides in a long time. I was worried getting soaked. I will try to post a clip where I was screaming in fear. It’s full of hilarity.

Another ride I went was bumper cars and I did lousy driving around.

There was a lot of walking around and the theme park has definitely changed since I last went. One attraction I went on was the Ocean Park Tower. It gave a 360° view of the Hong Kong island side, the whole Ocean Park and the South China Sea.

For something to eat, it was McDonald’s and I picked the wrong sandwich, the one I got was called GCB, it’s a grilled chicken sandwich but it was spicy.

Then went on the cable car back from the Summit to the Waterfront of Ocean Park. It was quite the breaktaking view to go on. Earlier, I went on the Ocean Express to go up to the Summit.

The last part of Ocean Park was checking out Old Hong Kong. It had displays of classic buildings of Hong Kong from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Very nostalgic to look at.

Overall, it was a fun but rather sweaty time going to Ocean Park. Posted below are video and photos.
